Mercy Home for Boys and Girls
For more than 100 years, Mercy Home has helped countless children in the Chicago area recover from difficult and often violent domestic situations by providing a positive, nurturing, and safe living environment. Mercy Home is 99.8% privately funded, so they depend on the support of people who want to make a positive and lifelong difference in these children's lives. Every generous donation helps these youths get one step closer to achieving their goals.

Residential, aftercare, and mentoring programs provide safety, care and opportunity for more than 400 young people every year. At Mercy Home children are able to rebuild their lives and redirect their futures.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago adopted Mercy Home for Boys and Girls as our charity of choice when we opened our doors over three years ago. We work closely with the directors at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls to ensure our efforts meet the needs of their organization.

Throughout the year, we host many events and fundraising activities for Trump associates to get involved in. The past three years we have kicked off our outreach program with Shamrock for Kids, a March fundraiser where the associates get dressed in green for St. Patrick's Day and work as teams selling shamrock pins to people walking around the Chicago River as it is dyed green. After the winter thaw, we jump into Mercy Home's Spring Fling event. It is a way of celebrating all the volunteers and members of Mercy Home. As we move into autumn, we have a new tradition of hosting a Thanving Dinner event for the staff and kids at the Mercy Home Campus. We wrap up the year with our Holiday Gift program which allows not only our associates to give back but also our residents in the Trump Tower participate in this amazing program.
