The Spa at Trump DEBUTS
AT TRUMP INTERNATIONAL HOTEL & TOWER CHICAGO
CHICAGO (April 8, 2008)—The distinctive brand of luxury associated with the Trump Hotel Collection experience is embodied in The Spa at Trump, now open at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. Featuring a select arrangement with sought-after skin care expert Kate Somerville, as well as signature gemstone products by Shiffa and Daily Elixir, The Spa at Trump envelops its guests in services geared toward wellness and inner health through offerings based on five Trump Personal Intentions: Calm, Balance, Purify, Heal and Revitalize.
Located on the 14th Floor of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago Chicago, the 23,000 square foot spa includes 11 spa treatment rooms offering an array of massages, facials, relaxation programs and signature beauty treatments for women, men and couples, in addition to Swiss and Vichy showers and hydrotherapy tubs. With a Spa Cuisine Menu and several distinct relaxation spaces, The Spa at Trump provides an all-encompassing experience for individual guests, as well as business retreats, bridal showers and other gatherings. Additionally, 53 spa guest rooms, the largest quantity of rooms in the United States solely dedicated to a luxury spa getaway—will give new meaning to the term “urban retreat” beginning Summer 2008.

Trump Personal Intentions: Calm, Balance, Purify, Heal, Revitalize
Every moment of the spa journey at The Spa at Trump caters to individual desires, expressed through the guest’s selected Trump Personal Intention: Calm, Balance, Purify, Heal or Revitalize. The guest’s intention determines the choice of essential oils, colors and music are incorporated into the experience to stimulate each of the five senses. For example, for a Calm intention, lavender, bergamot, clary sage, Roman chamomile and vetiver are infused in essential oils and elixirs that will guide the spa-goer to a state of tranquility. Oils enriched with sapphires—whose intense blue tones represent the third eye chakra, symbolizing wisdom and inner peace—are incorporated into a Calming Sapphires Massage. One of four signature gemstone services at The Spa at Trump, it is designed to inspire tranquility and calm the mind. Guests who book a signature gemstone service are presented with a selection of customized spa products, Trump Essentials, as a take-away so that he or she can continue the spa experience at home.
For a Balance intention, guests may select the Balancing Emeralds Massage or the Royal Lular Ritual, a tradition created in 17th century Indonesia. The balancing journey begins with a jasmine and frangipani scented oil massage that quenches and perfumes the skin. This is followed with a Javanese Lular scrub containing turmeric, rice and spices, mixed with a traditional splash of yogurt to exfoliate and refresh the body. This royal ritual concludes with a hydrotherapy service and a jasmine and frangipani moisturizing massage.
To Purify, guests can choose treatments such as a Purifying Diamonds Massage, a Body Mud Infusion or the Universal Glow Facial by Kate Somerville. Healing treatments include options such as the Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Massage or a Classic Custom “Time Expert Lift” Facial, and to Revitalize, guests can recharge with a Revitalizing Rubies Massage, a Dermal Quench Facial (providing the ultimate in skin hydration for instant radiance) or a Reflexology session, bringing energy and vitality to the entire body.

Healing Products: Exclusive Partnerships and Services
A select partnership with Kate Somerville brings this leading esthetician’s skincare products and treatments to The Spa at Trump, delivering the most advanced scientific techniques and proven results, revealing healthy, radiant skin. The spa has also introduced an enticing selection of spa classics rooted in wellness rituals from around the world. These include pampering facials rich in minerals from oysters and pearls, healing care for hands and feet, and treatments designed specifically for women, men and couples. An array of beauty services are also offered, including make-up, waxing, lash tinting and lash extensions.
Products selected for The Spa at Trump have been carefully chosen based on the reputation and quality of their brands. In addition to Kate Somerville, these include: geminfused organic body care products by Shiffa; pharmaceutical-grade skin care by Germine de Capuccini; luxurious shaving and men’s grooming accessories by Hommage; Bali-based Jamu’s organic herbal products; Tara aromatherapy; Franché cosmetics; and nail care by Alessandro/Pedix.

The Spa Attaché: Customized Service Along the Path to Well-Being
Ensuring that each guest’s experience is personally tailored down to the smallest detail is the Spa Attaché. A signature of The Spa at Trump, the Spa Attaché attends to every need along the journey, first assisting guests who book a signature service with their selection of a luxurious robe from the robe menu—including the softest, most indulgent spa robes designed for personal comfort and an enveloping relaxation experience. The Attaché also assists guests with selecting a locker; preparing and expertly presenting a refreshing beverage and samplings from the Spa Cuisine Menu; and guiding the spa-goer through the Relaxation Path of Experiences. This water ritual involves a choice of Purifying Steam Bath, Healing Hot Sauna or Revitalizing Deluge Shower, which incorporates chromatherapy through the use of ambient light panels for a truly unique showering experience. Oils and masks are hand-selected from the Essentials Treatment Bar to complete and fully enhance the ritual.
At the guest’s discretion, the Spa Attaché can also customize music selections for each guest’s iPod, arrange for a shoeshine, one-hour pressing, and any other special requests, and then assist the spa-goer in choosing The Spa at Trump Personal Intention that will serve as the foundation of his or her spa experience.

Chicago Exclusives: Antidotes for Urban Living
The Spa at Trump offers a selection of services exclusive to Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. In Chicago, guests can experience Ultimate Urban Treatments, designed to combat the environmental effects of city living with natural ingredients that detoxify and replenish body, mind and spirit.
The Ultimate Urban Body Mask begins with a body purifying exfoliation featuring detoxifying herbal mineral salts followed by a blue-green algae body mask enhanced with chlorophyll extracts to infuse the skin with potent cellular nutrition. The treatment concludes with a replenishing massage application of detoxifying aromatherapy oils that include cypress, rosemary and grapefruit. The Ultimate Urban Neck and Shoulder Massage alleviates the stresses and strains common to those who spend long hours in front of a computer or at the gym. It combines compression and acupressure massage techniques while alternating hot and cold packs coupled with specially formulated shea butter to penetrate deeply into muscles and joints. Healthy Mind and Body: Trump Health Club
Available to all guests of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago is the Trump Health Club, also located on the 14th Floor. This beautifully designed fitness center features a state-of-the-art cardiovascular room that showcases sweeping city views, and a weight training room including equipment by Technogym®. Yoga and spinning studios offer group and individual classes, and a 75’ x 24’ heated swimming pool overlooks the Chicago River. The Trump Health Club is also staffed with experienced personal trainers specializing in a variety of fitness disciplines.

Nourish: Spa Cuisine
Whether dining in-room or poolside—or for hosting a private event in the versatile function space—The Spa at Trump presents a Spa Cuisine Menu specially created by Executive Chef Frank Brunacci to nourish the soul. In addition to hot and cold tea and coffee selections, guests may choose from Banana, Peach or Papaya Smoothies or from the Spa’s Liquid Kitchen, featuring elixirs such as Beauty Spa Express (carrot, apple, spinach and parsley), Cleansing Cocktail (ginger, beet, apple, carrots) and the Fresh Complexion (pineapple, cucumber and apple).
For guests seeking healthful meal choices, an array of healthy snacks are available, all made using fresh, organic ingredients. Small Plates such as house-made Hummus and Whole Wheat Grilled Pita, Organic English Pea Soup with Fromaged Blanc-Melon-Cucumber-Peach and Health Bars with muesli, protein and dried fruit satisfy a craving for a light, nutrient-rich snack. Larger Plates include delectable options such as Baby Beet and Meyer Lemon Confit Salad with Arugula Greens, Garden Burger with Grilled Mushrooms, Organic Tomato and Herb Mustard and Citrus Cured Salmon with Blinis, Caviar and Cucumber Salad. The Spa at Trump is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Appointments are strongly recommended. Cancellations or changes to appointments should be made at least 24 hours in advance for single services, and 48 hours in advance for multiple treatments. Guests may wish to arrive 45 minutes prior to their appointment to sign in and enjoy a steam or shower. All spa guests must be 16 years or older to schedule a treatment or use the Trump Health Club. The Spa at Trump accepts all major credit cards, personal checks and traveler’s checks. Hotel guests may charge services to their room.
