“The opening of the River Walk motivated us to implement challenging alternatives during the summer months,” says Amy Mashlykin, Assistant Spa Director at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. “Our trainers designed these classes specifically to celebrate the beauty of the space along the Chicago River while providing guests with fitness-oriented socializing opportunities.”

The Summer Awakening Yoga class, led by Certified Trainer Toni Scott, is a challenging, meditative workout held on the River Walk every Wednesday from 7 to 8 a.m.  The Summer Walking Club, hosted by Certified Trainer Vy Brooks, is a vigorous power walk that begins along the River Walk and takes guests on a different route each week, including sessions to Lake Michigan and through Chicago’s Loop district, every Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m.

The River Walk at Trump International is a serene, 1.2 acre park nestled in downtown Chicago that is accessible via both the Wrigley Building breezeway and Wabash Park. The riverfront park features a private lily pond, natural flora of the Midwestern riverbanks, native trees and prairie grass, as well as a specially designed path crafted from imported Jerusalem Gold limestone and black granite paving stone from the Far East.
